Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 31, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery gained 3.75 cents to $5.4475 a bushel, while March corn lost 3.25 cents to $4.1375 a bushel and oats for March delivery climbed 7.25 cents to $2.7625 a bushel. January soybeans fell 1.75 cents to $10.3625 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.07 cent to 85.05 cents a pound; January feeder cattle inched up 0.15 cent to 95.12 cents a pound; February lean hogs added 0.2 cent to 65.62 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 0.8 cent to 86.3 cents a pound.
