Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[February 04, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 11.25 cents to $5.525 a bushel; March corn slid 8.75 cents to $3.6175 a bushel; March oats lost 5 cents to $1.875 a bushel; and March soybeans dropped 13.5 cents to $9.46 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle shed 0.70 cent to 86.12 cents a pound; March feeder cattle dropped 0.58 cent to 93.42 cents a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.35 cent to 57.60 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slipped 0.10 cent to 81.50 cents a pound.
