Southerly winds will gust from
30 to 45 mph into early evening Monday. This will cause problems for
high-profile vehicles traveling on north-south roads. Expect
scattered showers during this time as well. They should reach the
Peoria and Springfield areas toward 5 p.m. and Decatur toward 6 p.m.
While a few brief downpours are possible, heavy rain totals are
not expected due to the fast movement of the showers.
