Agriculture futures fall on the CBOT

[February 11, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery dropped 9 cents to $5.56 a bushel; March corn shed 0.75 cent to $3.7675 a bushel; March oats slipped 1.5 cents to $1.945 a bushel; and March soybeans fell 8 cents to $9.94 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle traded up 0.30 cent to 88.05 cents a pound, while March feeder cattle climbed 0.15 cent to 95.70 cents a pound. February lean hogs added 0.70 cent to 56.75 cents a pound, and February pork bellies gained 0.98 cent to 78 cents a pound.
