[February 11, 2009]  Tomorrow, Feb. 12, 2009, the bicentennial moment of Abraham Lincoln's birth will be celebrated in the Logan County Courthouse.

Main Street Lincoln's Looking for Lincoln committee will host a laying of the wreath in commemoration of this occasion. The public is invited to the event, which will begin at 11 a.m. in the rotunda.

There will be special music by the West Lincoln-Broadwell junior high choir and appropriate acknowledgement of this day in history. The wreath-laying will mark our remembrance of the legacy left to us by Abraham Lincoln.

The Logan County Railsplitting Association will provide cookies following the event.
