Letters of Support

Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community.

Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor:

I am writing to express my support for Nathan Turner as the city council's representative for Ward 4. Nathan will do an excellent job in this role, in part due to his understanding of how to succeed in the fast-paced culture we live in today. His education in finance and economics along with his responsibilities in making accurate and concise decisions involving millions of dollars worth of Caterpillar inventory make him an excellent and well-equipped leader for our city.

As residents of this community, we need leadership that will focus on action and results, balanced with fiscal responsibility, in an effort to get things done and keep things moving to keep pace in today's world and economy.

Join me and vote for Nathan Turner on Feb. 24.
