Agriculture futures mostly fall on the CBOT

[February 13, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery dropped 4.5 cents to $5.3875 a bushel, while March corn shed 2.25 cents to $3.6625 a bushel. March oats rose 2 cents to $1.905 a bushel, but March soybeans tumbled 9.5 cents to $9.685 a bushel.

Beef futures dropped, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle traded down 0.10 cent to 87.50 cents a pound, and March feeder cattle shed 0.25 cent to 95.15 cents a pound. April lean hogs gained 1.53 cents to 63.80 cents a pound, while March pork bellies added 1.02 cents to 79.97 cents a pound.
