[February 19, 2009]The city of Lincoln Republican precinct committeemen met
Wednesday evening and reviewed eight resumes for the Lincoln city clerk nomination.
With 20 of 22 committeeman present, they nominated Deborah S. Ihrer
as the Republican candidate in the consolidated election in April.
Ihrer formerly was the office manager for attorney Tom Funk
before Funk was appointed to the associate judgeship in Logan County
in November.
