 The Lincoln city precinct committeemen, with 21 of 22 present, reviewed 12 resumes and nominated Denise Martinek as the
city clerk
candidate.
Martinek currently is employed at the Logan County clerk and
recorder's office.
The necessity of the second meeting came after Deb Ihrer removed
her name from consideration after being chosen by the committee last
week.
Martinek will now be placed on the general election ballot.
