Agriculture futures mostly gain on the CBOT

[February 25, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery climbed 4.75 cents to $5.1525 a bushel, while March corn added 2.5 cents to $3.5425 a bushel. May oats gained were unchanged at $1.685 a bushel, while March soybeans traded up 8.25 cents to $8.81 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle added 1.43 cents to 85.35 cents a pound, while April feeder cattle gained 2.35 cents to 92.02 cents a pound. April lean hogs slipped 0.52 cent to 57.70 cents a pound, but May pork bellies rose 1.35 cents to 77 cents a pound.
