Agriculture futures mostly gain on the CBOT

[February 26, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery climbed 9.5 cents to $5.2475 a bushel, and March corn also added 9.5 cents to $3.6375 a bushel. May oats gained traded up 4.5 cents to $1.91 a bushel, but March soybeans slipped 3.5 cents to $8.80 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures dropped as pork futures climbed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle dipped 0.50 cent to 84.85 cents a pound, while April feeder cattle shed 0.45 cent to 91.57 cents a pound. April lean hogs gained 1.4 cents to 59.11 cents a pound, while May pork bellies rose 1.95 cents to 78.95 cents a pound.
