Agriculture futures trade mixed on Chicago BOT

[January 14, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery climbed 1 cent to $5.7075 a bushel, while March corn dropped 18.25 cents to $3.625 a bushel. March oats slid 4 cents to $2.09 a bushel, but March soybeans rose 5.5 cents to $9.715 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 1.17 cents to 84.07 cents a pound, while March feeder cattle gained 1.58 cents to 94.90 cents a pound. February lean hogs dipped 0.02 cent to 61.45 cents a pound, but February pork bellies rose 0.45 cent to 85 cents a pound.
