[January 19, 2009]  The following recalls were issued by various federal and state agencies during the week ending Jan. 17: 

INFANT GARMENTS 

Rashti & Rashti is recalling Taggies™ Sleep'n Play Infant Garments sold nationwide from January 2007 to November 2008. The snaps on these garments can detach, posing a choking hazard. 

The recall involves Taggies™ Sleep 'n Play style infant garments: the Butterfly Applique', the Fun Dog Print, Dinosaur Applique' and the Pink Toss Print styles. The infant garments are one piece footed coveralls with snaps down the front. These garments were sold in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-9 months. RN #27829 is printed on the care label sewn into the garment. Style numbers are printed on the hangtag of the garments. The complete list of style numbers is listed at www.recalls.org.

CRIBS 

Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. is recalling Stork Craft Baby Cribs sold nationwide from May 2000 to January 2009. The metal support brackets used to support the crib mattress and mattress board can crack and break. When one or more support brackets break, the mattress can collapse and create a dangerous gap between the mattress and crib rails, in which a child can become entrapped and suffocate. 

This recall involves Stork Craft Baby Cribs with manufacturing and distribution dates between May 2000 and November 2008. The manufacture date, model number, crib name, country of origin, and the firm's name, address, and contact information are located on the assembly instruction sheet attached to the mattress support board. The firm's insignia "storkcraft baby" is inscribed on the drop side teething rail of some cribs.

CIRCULAR SAWS 

One World Technologies Inc. is recalling Ryobi Corded Circular Saws sold exclusively at Home Depot stores nationwide from October 2008 to November 2008. The return spring on the circular saw's lower blade guard can break, posing a laceration hazard. 

This recall involves Ryobi corded circular saws with the following model numbers: CSB123, CSB133L, and CSB142LZ. Circular saws included in this recall have manufacturing date codes between 0836 and 0842 on the data plate near the trigger handle of the saw.

FLASHING PACIFIERS 

Top Goods Trading is recalling Flashing Pacifiers sold in the Los Angeles area from November 2007 to November 2008. Pieces of the flashing pacifiers can separate, posing a choking hazard. The necklaces pose a strangulation hazard. 

The recalled flashing pacifier has a yellow heart-shaped mouth guard and handle. There is a 15-inch cord attached to the handle. LED lights are activated by pushing the heart-shaped handle into the base of the pacifier.

VANITY STOOLS 

Cheyenne Industries Inc. is recalling Milan Vanity Stools sold nationwide from October 2004 to March 2006. The recalled stools can become unstable due to loose screws, which can cause the stool legs to separate or break, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves the Milan Vanity Stool Model GBS57A. The stools are rectangular benches sitting about 18 inches off the ground, with fabric-covered seat cushions and metal frames. UPC Code 0-50276-85472-2 is printed on the identification tag on the underside of the seat cushion.

WINDOW BLINDS 

Cost Plus Inc. is recalling Roman Shades and Roll-up Blinds sold at Cost Plus and World Market stores nationwide from February 2006 to August 2008. 

The Roman Shades have a looped pull cord and exposed inner cords on the back of the shade. Looped pull cords and exposed inner cords on roman shades present a strangulation hazard.

Roll-up Blinds have a looped pull cord and two lifting cord loops that run around the bottom rail. Looped pull cords and exposed lifting loops on roll-up blinds present a strangulation hazard. 

This recall involves four styles of shades, the "Canvass Roman Shade" available in four different sizes (4'x 6', 5'x 6', 2.5' x 6' and 3'x 6') with sku numbers 376983, 376984, 376985, 384870; the "Sari Roman Shade" available in two colors (berry and chocolate) with sku numbers 394700, 394701; and the "Buddha or Floral Matchstick Blinds" sku numbers 407376, and 407221. A small tag on the back of the Canvass and Sari Roman Shades states "World Market© Cost Plus, Inc., Oakland, CA 94607, Made in India, 100% Cotton." In addition, this recall involves other styles of wooden roll-up blinds, with or without valances, that have the following SKU numbers: 404991, 404992, 404993, 400742, 499743, 400744, 400745, 400746 and 358064, 358065, 358066, 358067, 358068. 

Consumers should return the product to any Cost Plus/World Market store to obtain a full refund.

TOY CARS 

TDI International is recalling "High Speed" Pull Back Toy Cars sold in Houston and Hidalgo, Texas from June 2008 to July 2008. Surface paint on the toy cars contains excessive levels of lead. 

The recalled pull back toy car is yellow with "PROWL" printed on the side, "VICTOR" printed on the hood, and a blue and red police warning light on the top.

TOY XYLOPHONES 

The Land of Nod Northbrook is recalling Rolling Toy Xylophones sold nationwide from October 2007 to March 2008. The pegs on the xylophone can break, posing a choking hazard. 

The recalled product is a rolling xylophone made of metal, wood and plastic. It has four wheels and a string to pull the toy. The xylophone has eight metal bars, each of which is attached with two pegs. The name 'Janod' is printed on each side between the wheels, and on the back wheels.

BICYCLES BY GIANT BICYCLE INC. 

Giant Bicycle, Inc. is recalling 2009 model year TCR Advanced SL and SL (ISP) Bicycles and Frames sold nationwide from August 2008 to December 2008.

The density of the steerer tubes can cause the forks to crack and break, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves 2009 TCR Advanced SL Team, SL 0, SL 1, SL 2, and SL (ISP) model bicycles and frames in silver, charcoal, blue and red. The words "Giant" and "TCR Advanced SL" are printed on the frame. 

Consumers should contact an authorized Giant Bicycle dealer for a free inspection and replacement fork.

PLAY YARDS 

Fisher-Price is recalling Rainforest™ Portable Play Yards sold nationwide from January 2007 to January 2009. One or more rails can collapse unexpectedly, posing a fall or entrapment hazard. 

The recalled play yards are portable and were sold with a bassinet, changing table, and mobile features. The products have a Rainforest™ patterned fabric, Rainforest themed artwork and bear the "Fisher-Price" logo. The Simplicity Inc. model numbers are 5310 RNF, 5310RNFC, and 5310RNFW. The model number is located on a sticker on one of the legs underneath the play yard.

CHILDREN'S SUNGLASSES 

Axiom International Inc. is recalling Children's Sunglasses sold nationwide from May 2007 to August 2008. Surface paint on the recalled sunglasses can contain excessive levels of lead. 

The two tone sunglasses come in Spiderweb Blue and Spiderweb Red with a spider web etched in between the eyes and "Made in China" engraved on the right-hand side of the frame. 

Consumers should return the sunglasses to the place of purchase for a full refund.

INFANT RATTLES 

Infantino LLC is recalling Infantino Lion and Lamb Grabby Rattles™ sold nationwide from May 2007 to September 2008. The tail-piece on the rattles can detach, posing a choking hazard. 

The recalled Infantino Lamb and Lion Grabby Rattles™ are shaped like a lamb and lion respectively. Each has a ring-shaped body and an Infantino elliptical logo stamped on the front right foot of the animal. The production code is printed behind the ear in a dial format with the year (08) in the middle of a circle and an arrow pointing to the number on the circle (01 or 05) that indicates the month.

BSH Home Appliances Corp. is recalling Bosch® and Siemens® Model Dishwashers sold nationwide from May 1999 to December 2006. An electrical component in certain model dishwashers can overheat, posing a fire hazard. 

This recall involves certain Bosch® and Siemens® dishwashers manufactured from May 1999 through July 2005. The brand name is printed on the dishwasher's front control panel. Model and serials numbers are located inside the dishwasher door panel on the upper right side.
