The Oasis, Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open weekdays, except holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center also is open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County senior citizens, regardless of membership. Friends of The Oasis members receive a bimonthly newsletter by mail and reduced rates for classes and trips. For more information, call 732-6132 or 732-5844.

Bingo sponsored by St. Clara's Manor

St Clara's Manor will sponsor the bingo games at The Oasis on Thursday, beginning at 1 p.m.

Blood pressure

The Oasis offers FREE checking of blood pressure every Friday between 10 and 11:30 a.m.

Bunco

Bunco games at the senior center will be on Monday, beginning at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be available, sponsored by Marilyn Armbrust of Regions Bank.

Tuesday's lunch

The 11:30 a.m. lunch for Jan. 27 will feature beef stew, biscuit and dessert for $3.75; or, if you stay to play cards, the cost is $3.25. The reservation deadline is noon Monday.

Breakfast bingo

The Oasis and Vonderlieth Living Center will sponsor breakfast bingo on Jan. 29. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 9, with bingo following. The deadline for breakfast bingo tickets will be at noon Jan. 28.

Card winners

Eleanor Barton and Lucky Eichner won weekday pinochle. The weekend winners were Henry Warnisher and Harold Goodman. The winner at five-in-one was Bernie DePuy. Congratulations.
