Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[January 27, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures gained or held steady Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery climbed 9.75 cents to $5.925 a bushel, while March corn added 3.25 cents to $3.9375 a bushel. March oats ended unchanged at $2.15 a bushel, and March soybeans were flat at $10.09 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures slid on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle dropped 0.20 cent to 85.60 cents a pound, while March feeder cattle lost 1.03 cents to 91.72 cents a pound. February lean hogs shed 0.92 cent to 58 cents a pound, and February pork bellies dropped 0.15 cent to 80.60 cents a pound.
