open house on Thursday, February 5, anytime from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
The school is located at 406 Keokuk Street across from Subway.
Everyone is invited to stop in for refreshments and live
demonstrations from the children. The Montessori Children's House in
Lincoln offers a wonderful early childhood education program for
preschool and kindergarten age children!
Montessori is a teaching method that channels a child's innate
curiosity toward the development of a love of learning. While it is
new to Lincoln, the Montessori teaching concepts have inspired this
love of learning for millions of children in hundreds of schools
around the world for the past 100 years. The Montessori teaching
method gives teachers the tools to gain and keep a
child's attention so that true learning can be achieved.

Montessori provides the skills for writing, reading and early
mathematical concepts. Children are exposed to the world of music
and art, and are provided opportunities for individual creativity.
Manners and respect for others are strongly emphasized, so that
grace and courtesy become a part of a child's way of life!
Montessori is a wonderful addition to our area's educational
options and a unique opportunity for families seeking an excellent
preschool and kindergarten experience for their young children. This
would be a great opportunity to learn the Montessori methods and the
amazing results.
