Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[July 09, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

DonutsWheat for September delivery rose 4.75 cents to $5.1725 a bushel, while September corn slipped 0.25 cent to $3.2525 a bushel and September oats lost 3.5 cents to $2.095 a bushel. Soybeans for August delivery plunged 38.5 cents to $10.15 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures were lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.85 cent to 83.35 cents a pound; August feeder cattle slid 1 cent to $1.0165 a pound; August lean hogs lost 1.18 cents to 61.02 cents a pound; and August pork bellies gained 0.48 cent to 58 cents a pound.
