divided into two leagues, one for children age 4 to kindergarten and
the other for those entering first and second grade. Teams practice
once a week and have games on Saturday mornings. Golf Clinic --
Regular registrations are now over, but there are still spots open.
You can sign up at the Y office with a nominal fee increase. The
YMCA Golf Clinic was formed to teach children the fundamentals of
golf while having a great time. The instructor, Jeff Nelson, will
customize lessons to improve skills of children from kindergarten to
eighth grade.
If your kids are looking for some extra summer fun, you can
register them for the YMCA Summer Day Camp programs, which
continue through Aug. 21. Kid Camp, for kindergarten through third
grade, and Preteen Camp, for fourth to sixth grade, offer daily
swimming, fun field trips, outdoor recreation and more. Call the Y
today to learn how your child can join our summer fun!
