Agriculture futures mostly higher on the CBOT

[July 21, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for September delivery inched up 0.5 cent to $5.4225 a bushel, while September corn gained 1 cent to $3.2325 a bushel and September oats were unchanged at $2.1525 a bushel. Soybeans for August delivery surged 23.5 cents to $10.33 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle advanced 0.43 cent to 86.8 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.13 cent to $1.0447 a pound; August lean hogs slipped 0.02 cent to 64.65 cents a pound; and August pork bellies rose 2 cents to 65.8 cents a pound.
