In the first game, Lincoln beat Prairie Central 8-3. The winning pitcher was Taylor Sparrow, who had 12 strikeouts and threw a no-hitter. She also helped her cause with the bat with a single, double and an RBI. Kallie Rogers had a single, one run scored and a stolen base. Stephanie Smith came in as courtesy runner and had five stolen bases and scored once. Heather Vancleve and Ashlyn Lesson were very important parts in the process of this win also.

The second game Lincoln lost to Canton 10-1. Meg Meeker led the team with two hits, the only run scored and three stolen bases. Kallie Rogers, Taylor Sparrow, Ashlyn Glick and Emily Martinez had hits for the Chill. Ashley Getchel also helped by reaching base on a walk.

The final game was against Ottawa, and Lincoln lost 9-1. Brianne Painter had one hit, one run scored and three stolen bases.

"We are very pleased with the way the girls played," the Chill coaches said. "These teams were tough tonight and our girls fought hard. We saw good things out there and saw some things we need to work on. We would like to thank all of the parents for taking time out of their busy schedules to get your daughters to these games. Through continued support of our team and with unity of our parents and players, our team will continue progress."
