[June 02, 2009]  BOSTON (AP) -- The ex-wife of the man who calls himself Clark Rockefeller is scheduled to be back on the witness stand to answer questions from her former husband's lawyers.

Sandra Boss is expected to face cross-examination Tuesday in her ex-husband's kidnapping trial.

Boss testified Monday that Rockefeller, whose real name is Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter (GAYR'-hahrtz-ry-tur), wooed her in the 1990s with his intellect and charisma but became controlling shortly after they got married.

Boss, who referred to her ex-husband as "the defendant," said she became increasingly suspicious of his stories about his past.

She said she was "completely traumatized" when he took their then 7-year-old daughter last July.

The defense claims Gerhartsreiter is mentally ill.
