"With U.S. and European crude oil and product inventories at their highest levels in almost 20 years, oil is currently showing extremely bearish fundamentals," Botha said. In other Nymex trading, gasoline for June delivery slipped by more than a cent to $1.91 a gallon and heating oil fell by nearly 3 cents to $1.77 a gallon. Natural gas for June delivery was flat at $4.12 per 1,000 cubic feet. In London, Brent prices lost 32 cents to $67.85 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
