City to begin mosquito spraying

Send a link to a friend

[June 03, 2009]  The street department in Lincoln will start spraying for mosquitoes on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7 to 11, weather permitting.

The department asks that all vehicles be moved out of the alleyways. For blocks without alleys, the truck will spray while driving the street around those blocks.

When driving behind the sprayer, please stay back at least 100 feet.

If anyone has beehives, please contact the department so the sprayer can avoid that area.

The chemical used is the safest and most effective in the industry.
