[June 06, 2009]  Don't forget: Registration for Summer Art Camp 1, Storybook Art, ends June 12. This program is for first- through sixth-grade kids and will be at the Y Activity Center on Wyatt Avenue.

Field Trip Blast is back! A YMCA staff member will take the children to a water park for a day of fun! Please bring a sack lunch, sunblock, water bottle and proper attire for the trip and the return. This program is for second- to fifth-graders and is from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the scheduled days. Drop-off and pickup are at the YMCA Activity Center. Hurry and sign up NOW as there is space for only 13 children per trip. Field Trip Blast dates are June 16 and 30, July 7 and 21, and Aug. 4 and 11.

Swim lesson registrations continue. Regular registration for Session A has ended, but you can still sign up with a nominal fee increase. Session B and C registrations are still going strong! Choose fun and exciting classes for children ages 6 months to 12 years that will teach, refine and encourage them to swim. Water safety is our highest priority! Don't miss out on the best swim instruction in Lincoln! All sessions are two weeks, Monday through Thursday, with both morning and afternoon classes available.

Regular registration has ended for the following programs, but you can still sign up! Sports of all Sorts, 4- to 5-year-olds; Girls Basketball Camp, first to sixth grade; Softball Clinic, 8- to 10-year-olds; and Session A swim lessons, 6 months to 12 years.
