DonutsUnseasonably cool temperatures were expected on the northern half of the front, with highs in the 60s over the northern Plains and upper Midwest. Light precipitation was to extend into the northern Rockies, with snow possible on peaks.

Elsewhere, the West Coast and Southwest were to remain warm and dry while sea breeze flow over Florida would continue triggering afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures in the Lower 48 states Monday ranged from a low of 28 degrees at Sheridan, Wyo., to a high of 100 degrees at Midland Airpark, Texas.
