[June 10, 2009]  GARNER, N.C. (AP) -- Officials say the body of one person killed in an explosion at a Slim Jim factory in North Carolina has been recovered. Crews are still trying to reach another body and one employee is unaccounted for.

Search and rescue chief Frank McLaurin said Wednesday that crews would enter the ConAgra Food Inc. plant in Garner through its roof and work slowly because the structure was unstable.

The body was recovered Tuesday night before heavy rains and thunderstorms forced workers to stop. McLaurin said the roof on the massive building filled with water and was so heavy it might collapse.

But he says enough water has been drained off to allow crews to enter the building.
