Ag futures mostly drop, livestock prices fall

[June 11, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat for July delivery slid 17.75 cents to $5.96 a bushel, while July corn dropped 8.25 cents to $4.3575 a bushel and July oats tumbled 4.5 cents to $2.415 a bushel. Soybeans for July delivery rose 2.5 cents to $12.46 a bushel.

RestaurantMeanwhile, beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle lost 0.90 cent to 80.82 cents a pound, while August feeder cattle slipped 0.15 cent to 96.17 cents a pound. June lean hogs dropped 0.28 cent to 57.07 cents a pound, and July pork bellies sank 3 cents to 55.90 cents a pound.
