[June 15, 2009]  (AP)  Unsettled weather, including strong showers and thunderstorms, was expected Monday along a front stretching from the Carolinas to eastern Colorado. 

Severe weather was possible across the Great Plains, the Ozarks and the Tennessee and Ohio valleys.

InsuranceIn the North, light showers and thunderstorms were forecast across the Great Lakes and New England into the evening.

In the West, increased clouds and scattered to were to advance the central California coast. Daytime heating was to produce scattered mountain storms from the Intermountain West to the northern and central Rockies.

Temperatures in the Lower 48 states Sunday ranged from a low of 32 degrees at Mammoth, Calif., to a high of 104 degrees at Laredo, Texas.
