Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[June 20, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 5 cents to $5.5525 a bushel, while July corn lost 4 cents to $3.9925 a bushel and July soybeans plunged 34.75 cents to $11.79 a bushel. Oats for July delivery inched up 0.5 cent to $2.12 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle gained 0.42 cent to 82.12 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.3 cent to 98.1 cents a pound; July lean hogs edged up 1.5 cents to 61.42 cents a pound; and July pork bellies advanced 0.65 cent to 60.15 cents a pound.
