[June 22, 2009]  WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in South Florida are closed after a tanker truck carrying more than 8,000 gallons of gasoline exploded.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the truck was traveling northbound early Monday morning when it swerved to avoid an abandoned vehicle.

The tanker truck separated from the trailer and burst into flames. No one was injured.

Firefighters were at the site of the crash, located near Palm Beach International Airport.
