In the second game, things livened up for Lincoln. Taylor Sparrow threw a no-hitter with eight strikeouts in three innings.

"We played like we should be playing tonight," the Chill coaches said. "The girls finally are starting to believe they can compete with anyone. We are so proud of how far these girls have come. We beat a team that won their league in Bloomington-Normal and will be going to the national tournament. This was a great achievement. The Lincoln White Chill plays in Canton this weekend in a tourney that we should do really well in if all of our players show up."
