School and athletic physicals available on HOPE Mobile at special rates

[June 24, 2009]  The HOPE Mobile is offering school and athletic physicals for the 2009-2010 school year at a special $45 rate. The special rate is valid until Sept. 30. School and athletic physicals are available any days that the certified family nurse practitioner, Katherine "Kat" Yong, is traveling on the HOPE Mobile, which are usually Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The following dates are reserved specifically for school and athletic physicals:

• Tuesday, July 7

• Wednesday, July 8

• Tuesday, Aug. 4

• Wednesday, Aug. 5

• Thursday, Aug. 6

On these days, the HOPE Mobile will be located at the Kickapoo Street garage, across from Latham Park, from 9 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. (closed over the noon hour).

If your child requires immunizations, you must bring their current immunization record with you; these may be obtained from the Logan County Department of Public Health.
