[June 25, 2009]  Atlanta Dental (4-1) pulled off an improbable come-from-behind victory over previously unbeaten Culligan Water, 13-12, in Mustang baseball Wednesday night.

Down 10-4 in their final at-bat, Atlanta Dental sent 10 consecutive batters to the plate before registering their first out of the inning. Seven of the batters reached on base hits, led by an inside-the-park home run by Zac Montcalm that plated the first three runs of the inning. Montcalm had four RBIs on the night.

Culligan mounted a comeback of their own in the bottom half of the final inning, scoring twice and coming up just short. Alec Bailey and Brock Laubenstein each had two hits for Culligan.

Devin Smith and Jacob Konczyk combined to get the win on the mound for Atlanta Dental, and they each had two hits to help their cause. But, in the end, it was every player contributing at the plate in the final inning that made the come-from-behind victory possible.
