Urish told of his experiences while serving in the
Army during World
War II. He has written all about it in a book titled "The Education
of Private Urish."
After the program, Marlene Eeten, club historian, installed Diana
James, chairman, and Frances Hoffman, secretary for 2009-2010. Other
officers are Lucille Albers, vice chairman, and Faye Duckworth,
treasurer.
A gift was given to the past chairman, Darlene Hoerbert.
The next meeting will be Sept. 15. Most meetings are at 1:30 p.m.
on the third Tuesday of the month at the San Jose Community
Building.
