Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[June 26, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery slid 6.75 cents to $5.33 a bushel, while July corn lost 4 cents to $3.825 a bushel and July oats fell 3 cents to $2.03 a bushel. Soybeans for July delivery gained 11 cents to $11.96 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mostly higher and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle inched up 0.08 cent to 82.55 cents a pound; August feeder cattle was unchanged at 98.95 cents a pound; July lean hogs slipped 0.23 cent to 57.07 cents a pound; and July pork bellies fell 1.4 cents to 58.8 cents a pound.
