Lincoln Legion has a rough weekend

[June 29, 2009]  On Saturday, the Lincoln Senior Legion traveled to Watseka and lost both ends of a twin bill, 5-4 and 9-4. The first game was a heartbreaker as Lincoln led 4-3 going into the bottom of the seventh and gave up two runs for the loss.

On Sunday, Lincoln traveled to Quincy and again dropped a twin bill, 7-5 and 5-4. In the second game Lincoln led 4-2 going into the bottom of the seventh, only to give up two runs to send it to extra innings. Quincy scored in the bottom of the eighth for the win.
