Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[June 30, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

DonutsWheat for July delivery lost 5.75 cents to $5.285 a bushel, while July corn fell 7.25 cents to $3.77 a bushel. July soybeans jumped 14 cents to $12.15 a bushel and oats for July delivery gained 4.25 cents to $2.135 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 3 cents to 85.4 cents a pound; August feeder cattle edged up 2.75 cents to $1.0175 a pound; July lean hogs rose 1.32 cents to 58.02 cents a pound; and July pork bellies fell 2.4 cents to 56 cents a pound.
