Special events this past week included Movie Day, eighth grade versus faculty volleyball match, family breakfast, special chapel service, spelling bee, Reading Day, Special Persons Day, science fair, open house, concert, visiting nursing home and sock hop.

Each day was a special dress-up day, including Pajama Day, Backwards and Clash Day, Nice Clothes Day, Favorite Team Day and Zion T-shirt Day.

Students and staff donated items for the Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry each day.  Foods included cereal, macaroni and cheese, soup and canned foods, snack food, and canned veggies and fruit.

On Friday, students and staff each wore a custom-made T-shirt with this year's school theme, "The LORD is my light," printed on the shirts.

Students and staff will be ending their week of celebration by singing during the 8 and 10:30 services at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln on Sunday morning.
