Agriculture futures trade higher on the CBOT

[March 11, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery advanced 9.5 cents to $5.3275 a bushel; May corn rose 10 cents to $3.755 a bushel; May oats gained 4.25 cents to $1.885 a bushel; and May soybeans jumped 12 cents to $8.77 a bushel.

Beef futures were lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 0.33 cent to 82.87 cents a pound; April feeder cattle slipped 0.17 cent to 90.75 cents a pound; April lean hogs lost 1.9 cents to 60.52 cents a pound; and May pork bellies rose 0.78 cent to 81.5 cents a pound.
