Tommie Havener Jr.

[March 13, 2009]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Tommie Dale Havener Jr., 67, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at 10:49 a.m. at Mountainview Hospital in Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Jeremy Thomason officiating.

Burial will be in Kline Cemetery, Broadwell.

Mr. Havener was a construction worker.

He was born Sept. 17, 1941, in Decatur, to Tommie Dale and Ruth Mossleate Ridgeway Havener Sr. He married Trudy Whatley in Las Vegas, Nev., on June 27, 1986.

He is survived by his wife, of Las Vegas; three daughters, Tammie Mosier of Mount Pulaski, Anita (and Derek) White of Mount Pulaski and Barb (Steve) Robinson of Lincoln; one stepdaughter, Jessie Quinn of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Red Rock in Las Vegas.
