Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 18, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 8.25 cents to $5.525 a bushel; May corn lost 1 cent to $3.905 a bushel; May oats gained 4.5 cents to $1.93 a bushel; and May soybeans rose 2 cents to $9.13 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle slipped 0.15 cent to 84.3 cents a pound; May feeder cattle inched up 0.62 cent to 94.32 cents a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.6 cent to 62.15 cents a pound; and May pork bellies rose 1 cent to 89.5 cents a pound.
