[March 18, 2009]  The casts and crews of the Lincoln Community High School group interpretation and contest play productions will present "Charlotte's Web" and "Stones in His Pockets" at 7 p.m. Thursday in the LCHS auditorium.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted to offset some costs of the competition teams going to sectionals and state.

Team members for the group interpretation performance of "Charlotte's Web," by E.B. White, are Katy Langdon, narrator; Kaylyn Engelhardt as Charlotte; Cody Follis, Wilbur; Trevor Arrington, Mr. Arable and Avery; Ethan Plumier, Mr. Zuckerman; Jessica Sutton, Goose; Rigoberto Ernst, Templeton; Lorenda Kirby, Fern; Sara Buchanan, Mrs. Arable; and Jarrod Grover, Cow.

The group interpretation performance lasts 30 minutes, with a five-minute setup, tear-down time.

The contest play is "Stones in His Pockets," by Marie Jones, and has a cast of only two, although seniors Todd Schumacher and Cody Follis play more than four characters each without costume or scenery changes.

The contest play lasts 40 minutes, with a 20-minute setup, tear-down, but has a minimal set and will not need more than 10 minutes to set up.

The shows are directed by Jennifer Keith with script by Ed Jodlowski.
