Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 21, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 5 cents to $5.5025 a bushel; May corn was unchanged at $3.965 a bushel; May oats fell 1 cent to $2 a bushel; and May soybeans rose 11.5 cents to $9.52 a bushel.

Beef futures traded mixed and pork futures were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle inched up 0.45 cent to 85.2 cents a pound; May feeder cattle lost 0.35 cent to 95.37 cents a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.3 cent to 61.75 cents a pound; and May pork bellies slipped 0.25 cent to 91.5 cents a pound.
