Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 24, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 1 cent to $5.4925 a bushel; May corn lost 1 cent to $3.955 a bushel; May oats slipped 0.5 cent to $1.995 a bushel; and May soybeans rose 3.5 cents to $9.555 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle advanced 0.75 cent to 85.95 cents a pound; May feeder cattle gained 0.68 cent to 96.05 cents a pound; April lean hogs fell 1.1 cents to 60.65 cents a pound; and May pork bellies lost 3 cents to 88.5 cents a pound.
