Hartsburg-Emden FFA meats team competes

HARTSBURG -- Hartsburg-Emden FFA members
competed in the Section 14 Meats Judging CDE, in which they had to
learn to identify cuts of meat, grade beef and pork carcasses, and
place classes of beef and pork carcasses.

The team consisted of Josiah Klokkenga, Chase Griffith, Drew
Wenninger, Taylor Vineyard, Kayla Strauch, Danielle Hill,
Kortney Watts and Mary Rankin. They placed sixth in the
competition, with Taylor Vineyard as the top individual on the
team.
