Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 25, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery dropped 14.25 cents to $5.35 a bushel; May corn lost 1.75 cents to $3.9375 a bushel; May oats fell 2 cents to $1.975 a bushel; and May soybeans jumped 11.5 cents to $9.67 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle slipped 0.5 cent to 85.45 cents a pound; May feeder cattle gained 0.8 cent to 96.85 cents a pound; April lean hogs rose 0.7 cent to 61.35 cents a pound; and May pork bellies were unchanged at 88.5 cents a pound.
