[March 27, 2009]  WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- She may be nearly 105, but that won't stop this great-great-great-grandmother from throwing out the first pitch for a Marlins spring training game next month.

DonutsMaude Newkirk, who turns 105 next week, will throw out a pitch at Roger Dean Stadium for the sixth straight year on April 2.

Newkirk, who lives with her granddaughter, credits her longevity to her faith in God.

Her family made her stop driving at 90 years old, but she still loves watching baseball and going to church.
