This week's 'Viewpoint' guest

[March 31, 2009]  Tune in to "Viewpoint" this Wednesday, when the featured guest will be John L. Rotz, a retired Hall of Fame jockey living in Warrensburg. Often called "Gentleman John" by peers and associates, he rode the Preakness winner in 1962 and had over 200,000 mounts in his career.

"Viewpoint" -- the program of personalities, politicians and perspectives -- airs weekly on Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m. on WLCN-FM 96.3, Atlanta. Listen in each week and hear what's interesting and happening in our area when Judy Busby and Bill Gossett host special guests on their lively morning radio program.

• April 15 -- Joe Schneider of Global Tech Training, a heating and air-conditioning school, new in Lincoln. Program time will be shared with Andi Hake of the chamber of commerce.

• April 22 -- Bernie Schoenburg, political columnist with the State Journal-Register
