Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 31, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 5.25 cents to $5.125 a bushel; May corn slipped 0.75 cent to $3.8625 a bushel; May oats fell 2.5 cents to $1.93 a bushel; and May soybeans dropped 12.5 cents to $9.045 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle lost 1.5 cent to 82.82 cents a pound; May feeder cattle fell 1.25 cents to 93.05 cents a pound; April lean hogs inched up 0.08 cent to 60.55 cents a pound; and May pork bellies fell 2.15 cents to 83.75 cents a pound.
