Margaret Conrady

[April 27, 2009]  Margaret E. Conrady, 73, of Lincoln, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at 8:55 p.m. at The Christian Village.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hartsburg, with the Rev. David Russell officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Conrady baked cakes, owned a floral shop and participated in craft shows in nine states.

She was born March 24, 1936, in Lincoln to Claus and Edith Trepel Wibben. She married Robert D. Conrady on Aug. 12, 1956, in Hartsburg. He preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2005.

She is survived by one son, Craig (and Paula) Conrady of New Holland; two daughters, Cindy (and Kevin) Gleason of Hartsburg and Christy (and Jay) Cross of Emden; three brothers, Herman (and Marty) Wibben of Emden, Duane (and Barbara) Wibben of Mason City and John (and Pam) Wibben of Tremont; three sisters, Nancy Ritterbush of Hartsburg, Betty (and Joe) Litherland of Lincoln and Ruth (and Larry) Reinhart of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Mark (and Ruah) Gleason of San Marcos, Texas, Amanda Gleason (and Adam Buglio) of Homer Glen, Matt and Mitch Gleason of Hartsburg, Andrea and Adam Cross of Emden, and Curtis and Josh Conrady of New Holland; and a brother-in-law, Earl Conrady of Lincoln.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Cathy Richardson.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Hartsburg.

She graduated from Hartsburg-Emden High School in 1954.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Hartsburg or Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.
